Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using Java 8+/11+.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with frontend applications and other microservices.
• Architect and develop solutions based on microservices architecture principles to ensure system resilience and flexibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Integrate and interact with various SQL databases like Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL using Hibernate/JPA.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+ or Java 11+) and the Spring Boot framework.
• Solid understanding and experience with microservices architecture and REST API development.
• Experience with ORM tools such as Hibernate/JPA for database interaction.
• Proficiency in working with SQL databases including Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Experience with containerization using Docker and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
