Intune Expert

Are you an experienced Intune Expert looking for a challenging remote opportunity in India? This full-time, long-term role requires a proactive professional with extensive experience in Microsoft Intune, SCCM, and Microsoft Entra ID to drive efficiency and enhance security across our infrastructure.

As our dedicated Intune Expert, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation and robust security of our digital workspace, leveraging your deep technical expertise to implement best practices and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all aspects of Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, policy creation, profile assignments, and advanced troubleshooting.
• Oversee SCCM/Intune Co-Management strategies and actively support the migration from SCCM to Intune, ensuring a smooth transition.
• Handle comprehensive application lifecycle management, including packaging, deployment, updating, and troubleshooting applications (Win32, MSI, Microsoft Store, Microsoft 365 Apps).
• Develop, deploy, and manage Windows Autopilot profiles, hardware hashes, and Enrollment Status Page (ESP) configurations for streamlined device provisioning.
• Implement and maintain robust endpoint security measures, configuring BitLocker, Microsoft Defender, Firewall rules, Security Baselines, and Attack Surface Reduction (ASR) policies.
• Manage and optimize Windows Update Rings, Feature Updates, Quality Updates, and Driver Updates to keep systems current and secure.
• Utilize PowerShell scripting for automation and create Proactive Remediations to address common endpoint issues effectively.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory), focusing on Hybrid Entra Join, device group management, and dynamic group configurations.
• Monitor endpoint health, generate comprehensive reports, and maintain meticulous Intune documentation and operational processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as an Intune Expert, demonstrating deep knowledge of Microsoft Intune and endpoint management.
• Proven expertise with SCCM (Configuration Manager) and experience with or strong understanding of SCCM to Intune migration processes.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) administration, including device management and hybrid environments.
• Advanced skills in PowerShell scripting for automation, task management, and developing proactive solutions.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Windows Autopilot, application deployment, and comprehensive endpoint security solutions like Microsoft Defender.
• Excellent troubleshooting capabilities across Intune enrollment, application deployment, compliance, and Windows Update issues.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
