Infrastructure Administrator

As an Infrastructure Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our client's critical cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Administering, maintaining, and optimizing Linux-based server environments, with a strong preference for Debian distributions.
• Managing and orchestrating Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and efficient resource utilization.
• Implementing, configuring, and maintaining KVM virtualization solutions.
• Developing, debugging, and deploying automation scripts using Bash and Python to streamline infrastructure operations and reduce manual effort.
• Driving continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices and infrastructure-as-code principles.
• Setting up and managing robust monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve issues.
• Performing performance tuning, troubleshooting complex infrastructure problems, and conducting thorough root cause analysis.
• Participating in incident management, ensuring swift resolution and minimal downtime.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement infrastructure security best practices and ensure compliance.
• Operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure for enterprise-level applications.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Infrastructure Administration, DevOps, or a similar cloud operations role.
• Proven expertise in Linux administration, including strong command-line proficiency and system hardening.
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes cluster management, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrable experience with KVM virtualization technology.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash and Python for automation and system management.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with relevant tooling (e.g., Jenkins).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools (e.g., Dynatrace, ELK stack).
• Experience working with large-scale enterprise cloud platforms, ideally with a background in supporting European clients.
• Ability to work effectively in the EMEA time zone to align with client operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
