HVAC Project Engineer

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and implementation of advanced automation systems. We are looking for a proactive individual with a strong background in PLC and SCADA programming, ready to tackle challenging projects and contribute to our continued success in the industrial automation sector, ensuring the seamless integration and operation of critical control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of industrial automation solutions using Rockwell/Allen-Bradley platforms.
• Perform advanced PLC and SCADA programming, specifically with ControlLogix & CompactLogix PLCs, and develop applications using Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
• Design and configure Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems utilizing FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
• Develop robust control logic using Ladder Logic and Function Block Diagram (FBD) for complex industrial processes.
• Execute comprehensive Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Oversee system commissioning, startup, and optimization at client sites, ensuring seamless integration and operation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex control system issues, providing expert technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Integrate various third-party systems and devices using communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and OPC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in industrial automation project execution, with a strong focus on Rockwell Automation systems.
• Proficient expertise in Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLCs, including ControlLogix and CompactLogix, and extensive experience with Studio 5000 Logix Designer.
• Demonstrated experience in HMI/SCADA development using FactoryTalk View SE/ME and PlantPAx.
• Solid understanding and practical application of PLC & SCADA Programming, Ladder Logic, and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
• Proven experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, Profibus, and OPC.
• Ability to perform FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities independently and effectively.
• Prior experience in industries such as Food & Beverage, Life Sciences, Chemicals, or Oil & Gas is highly preferred.
