Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all daily HR operations, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance appraisal systems for hotel staff.
  • Assist in the development, meticulous implementation, and consistent enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring full compliance with prevailing labor laws and company standards.
  • Manage and resolve employee grievances, conduct thorough investigations, and administer fair and consistent disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Coordinate and facilitate various training and development programs designed to continuously enhance staff skills and support career progression opportunities within the hotel.
  • Meticulously maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential employee records within HR information systems (HRIS), ensuring absolute data integrity and privacy.
  • Provide comprehensive support to the hotel's management team in executing diverse HR initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and highly productive work culture.
  • Administer and oversee employee benefits and compensation programs, striving to ensure equity, competitiveness, and compliance with industry benchmarks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee inquiries regarding HR-related matters, providing clear, accurate, and empathetic guidance and support.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of proven, progressive experience as an HR Supervisor or in a closely similar HR generalist role, with indispensable experience specifically gained within the hotel or broader hospitality industry.
  • A strong, demonstrable understanding of contemporary HR best practices, local labor laws, and core employee relations principles.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, coupled with a genuine ability to build strong rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle highly confidential information with the utmost discretion, integrity, and professionalism.
  • Solid proficiency in utilizing modern HR software solutions and the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Superior organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proven capability to manage multiple competing priorities effectively in a dynamic setting.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is highly preferred; relevant HR certifications are a distinct advantage.
