Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all human resources operations within the Serampore warehouse, ensuring alignment with company policies and labor laws.
• Lead and implement effective employee engagement strategies to cultivate a positive and motivating work environment.
• Coordinate and manage attendance records and payroll processing in collaboration with finance teams, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle all aspects of employee relations, including grievance resolution, conflict management, and disciplinary actions.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives for warehouse staff, ensuring a seamless integration process for new hires.
• Maintain comprehensive HR documentation and records, ensuring compliance and data integrity.
• Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related matters, contributing to strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the warehouse environment to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with a significant portion specifically within a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or retail operations environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in core HR functions, including employee engagement, attendance management, payroll coordination, HR operations, and employee relations.
• Thorough understanding of relevant labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices applicable to the region.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to effectively interact with employees at all levels.
• Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, particularly in managing HR data and processes.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic setting.
• Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software, along with standard office productivity tools.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
