As an HR Business Partner at POLKART Logistics, you will be instrumental in aligning HR strategies with business objectives, particularly within a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse environment. This role requires a hands-on approach to various HR functions, from talent acquisition to employee development, ensuring that our human capital thrives and contributes effectively to our operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Manpower Planning & Recruitment: Oversee the full talent acquisition lifecycle, including developing strategic manpower plans, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new employees, ensuring a seamless integration into the POLKART Logistics team.
• Employee Relations & Site HR Operations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, provide expert guidance on workplace issues, and efficiently manage day-to-day HR administrative and operational tasks specific to the site.
• Compliance with Labour Laws & Policies: Ensure strict adherence to all applicable Indian labour laws, company HR policies, and occupational safety regulations, thereby mitigating risks and promoting a fair and compliant workplace culture.
• Performance Management & Employee Development: Implement and manage robust performance appraisal systems, identify critical training and development needs, and facilitate initiatives that enhance employee skills, productivity, and career progression within the company.
• Business Partnership & HR Alignment: Collaborate closely with business unit leaders and managers to understand their strategic objectives, align HR initiatives with organizational goals, and provide insightful HR expertise to support overall company growth and efficiency.
• Blue-Collar Workforce Management: Develop and execute tailored strategies for managing and supporting the blue-collar workforce, addressing their unique challenges, ensuring fair practices, and optimizing their vital contribution to logistics operations.

Requirements

• Educational Qualification: Hold an MBA in Human Resources, a Master’s in Human Resources, or an MSW (HR) from a reputable institution.
• Professional Experience: A minimum of 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in Human Resources, with a strong preference for candidates who have gained experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments.
• Labour Law & Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding and practical experience with Indian labour laws, HR best practices, and occupational safety regulations.
• Employee Relations Acumen: Demonstrated ability to effectively manage employee relations, resolve disputes, and foster a harmonious and productive work environment.
• Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build strong rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Problem-Solving Capability: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address complex HR challenges and implement practical, results-oriented solutions.
