Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement robust Web GIS applications and enterprise GIS solutions using modern frontend frameworks.
• Integrate and utilize ArcGIS Maps SDK and ArcGIS REST APIs for seamless geospatial data visualization and interaction.
• Develop and maintain backend services and geospatial processing scripts primarily using Python and ArcPy.
• Work with spatial databases like PostGIS and SQL Server to manage, query, and optimize large geospatial datasets.
• Contribute to the development of geoportals and interactive dashboards to present complex geospatial insights.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and performant geospatial applications.
• Participate in the deployment and management of GIS applications using cloud platforms like Azure/AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes within a DevOps framework.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's (BE/BTech) or Master's (MSc/MCA/MTech or equivalent) degree in GIS, Remote Sensing, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of demonstrable experience in Web GIS, Enterprise GIS, and application development.
• Strong proficiency in frontend technologies including React, JavaScript, and TypeScript for building interactive user interfaces.
• Extensive experience with the ArcGIS ecosystem, including ArcGIS Maps SDK, ArcGIS REST APIs, and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Solid programming skills in Python, with experience in geospatial libraries like ArcPy.
• Proficiency in spatial database management systems such as PostGIS and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices is highly preferred.
• Experience working on Government GIS Projects and developing geoportals or dashboards is a significant advantage.
