Gen AI Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, the Gen AI Engineer will be instrumental in transforming complex business challenges into intelligent, scalable, and secure AI-driven solutions. You will be at the forefront of implementing advanced agentic architectures and applying best practices in LLM operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy robust Generative AI and Machine Learning solutions leveraging the full suite of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Azure AI Studio.
• Build sophisticated Large Language Model (LLM)-powered applications, meticulously employing advanced prompt engineering, efficient tool/function calling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI design patterns.
• Orchestrate complex Agent-to-Agent (A2A) workflows for seamless task decomposition, orchestration, and collaborative intelligence among AI agents.
• Implement the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to standardize tool access, memory management, and context handling across diverse AI agents, enhancing interoperability.
• Apply industry-leading MLOps and LLMOps practices throughout the development lifecycle, encompassing CI/CD for models and prompts, robust versioning, monitoring, and evaluation.
• Proactively detect and mitigate common AI challenges such as hallucinations, model drift, and prompt regressions to ensure solution reliability and ethical compliance.
• Implement stringent LLM security measures and guardrails, including prompt injection prevention, data leakage protection, and output moderation with policy enforcement.
• Fine-tune and adapt Generative AI models for optimal economy, focusing on token economics, minimizing latency, and achieving cost efficiency.
• Develop and expose AI capabilities through secure, scalable APIs and microservices, ensuring seamless integration with existing enterprise systems.

Requirements

• Total experience of 10-15 years in software development, with a significant focus and 4-6 years directly in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI.
• Proven track record of building, deploying, and operating GenAI solutions in production environments using modern agentic architectures.
• Expert-level proficiency in designing and developing Generative AI solutions specifically with Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, and Azure AI Studio.
• Deep expertise in advanced LLM techniques including prompt engineering, tool/function calling, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI design patterns.
• Demonstrated experience with MLOps and LLMOps practices, CI/CD for AI models, and implementing robust LLM security and guardrails.
• Strong programming skills, particularly in Python, coupled with extensive experience in creating secure, scalable APIs and microservices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic, fast-paced team environment.
