Finance & Accounting Specialist

Genpact is urgently seeking highly motivated and experienced **Finance & Accounting Specialists** to join our expanding team in Kolkata. As a **Finance & Accounting Specialist** at Genpact, you will be instrumental in managing complex financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across various client engagements. Your deep understanding of end-to-end F&A processes will be key to your success, allowing you to drive improvements and deliver exceptional results in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and manage end-to-end Record to Report (R2R) activities, including general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation.
• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment run execution, and addressing vendor queries efficiently.
• Manage Order to Cash (O2C) cycles, encompassing credit management, billing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution to optimize cash flow.
• Perform timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures in accordance with financial reporting standards.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies, provide financial insights, and ensure smooth process execution.
• Apply strong analytical skills to identify process inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and implement solutions to enhance productivity and accuracy.
• Ensure strict adherence to company policies, internal controls, and relevant regulatory compliance standards in all financial operations.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support digital transformation efforts within the Finance & Accounting domain.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in Finance & Accounting, with specific expertise in Record to Report (R2R), Accounts Payable (AP), or Order to Cash (O2C).
• Demonstrated strong understanding of end-to-end F&A processes and best practices within a large-scale or global organization.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage stakeholders at various levels effectively.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work effectively in a UK shift environment, adapting to client time zones.
• A valid Passport is mandatory for this position.
• Preference will be given to immediate joiners or candidates currently serving a notice period.
