Expert Site Reliability Engineer

Ideate Technologies, a dynamic IT solutions provider, is actively seeking an experienced and highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our specialized team. This is a crucial contract-to-contract (C2C) opportunity, offering the chance to collaborate with prominent clients like Capital Group and Solugenix on advanced IT infrastructure projects. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical systems, leveraging your expertise in workload automation, cloud technologies, and monitoring solutions.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional based in Irvine, CA, with the flexibility to work in a hybrid (onsite/remote) model. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about building robust, automated systems and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. While the primary focus is on Site Reliability Engineering, we also have openings for a Dynatrace Engineer, and candidates with strong Dynatrace expertise are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices to enhance system stability, performance, and efficiency.
• Manage and optimize complex workload automation platforms, including deep expertise in AutoSys and Automic, to streamline operational processes.
• Implement, configure, and manage comprehensive application performance monitoring (APM) and observability solutions using Dynatrace.
• Develop and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging Infrastructure-as-Code principles with Terraform.
• Drive automation initiatives across the software development lifecycle, utilizing tools like Ansible, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Build, maintain, and improve continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins and Git.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident response for complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Collaborate closely with development and operations teams, adhering to Agile and DevOps methodologies to deliver high-quality, resilient solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of demonstrated experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or a similar role with a strong focus on system reliability.
• Extensive hands-on experience with workload automation tools such as AutoSys and Automic.
• Proven expertise in Dynatrace for APM, synthetic monitoring, real user monitoring, and comprehensive observability.
• Solid proficiency in AWS cloud services, including architecture, deployment, and management, coupled with strong Terraform skills.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and OpenShift, along with automation tools like Ansible.
• In-depth understanding and practical experience with CI/CD practices and tools, particularly Jenkins and Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of effective troubleshooting and incident resolution.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively within a hybrid team model.
