Key Responsibilities

• Drive end-to-end procurement activities, from identifying needs to final delivery, specifically for electrical materials and components.
• Strategically identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers to build a robust supply chain network.
• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and meticulously compare quotations to identify the best value propositions.
• Lead price negotiations with vendors, employing effective strategies to achieve significant cost optimization without compromising quality.
• Efficiently process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and timelines.
• Coordinate seamlessly with logistics partners to manage the timely delivery of goods, overseeing tracking and inventory management.
• Maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, fostering long-term partnerships and addressing any supply chain issues proactively.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards for all electrical procurements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of proven experience in an electrical procurement role, demonstrating a solid understanding of the sector.
• Exceptional vendor negotiation and coordination skills, with a track record of securing favorable terms and managing supplier relationships effectively.
• Comprehensive knowledge of procurement best practices, including sourcing, tendering, contracting, and ethical purchasing guidelines.
• Strong analytical abilities for BOQ preparation, quotation comparison, and cost analysis.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with internal teams and external vendors.
• Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping, ensuring all procurement activities are traceable and compliant.
