Electrical Procurement Executive

Fidesto is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Executive to join our team in Pune. This pivotal role requires a professional with a strong background in civil engineering or a related field, bringing 4 to 8 years of proven experience in procurement. As a Procurement Executive, you will be instrumental in optimizing our sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the efficient acquisition of goods and services critical to our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to secure high-quality goods and services at competitive prices.
• Manage the entire procurement cycle, from vendor identification and selection to contract negotiation and order placement.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance and compliance.
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and new technologies to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely delivery, and adherence to company policies.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including project managers and technical teams, to understand material and service requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant procurement regulations, company policies, and ethical standards.
• Support inventory management efforts by coordinating with warehousing and logistics teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering or any relevant graduate degree.
• 4 to 8 years of progressive experience in procurement, preferably within a construction or engineering-related industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed procurement decisions.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and ERP systems for managing purchase processes.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
