Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test scenarios and test cases based on project requirements and design specifications.
• Perform various types of testing, including Functional Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to ensure product quality and adherence to business needs.
• Actively participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), ensuring quality is embedded from conception to release.
• Work effectively within an Agile project methodology, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through their entire lifecycle, ensuring clear and concise bug reports using modern tracking tools.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand product functionalities and deliver high-quality solutions.
• Provide clear and timely communication regarding test status, defect metrics, and potential risks to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of professional experience in manual software testing roles.
• Strong proficiency in designing and executing test scenarios and test cases, covering various testing types.
• Demonstrable understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) principles.
• Hands-on experience with defect management and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, Redmine, or similar platforms.
• Good working knowledge of database concepts, with the ability to perform basic data validation tasks.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for test data management and reporting.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with prior experience in direct client communication being a significant advantage.
• Familiarity with API and Web Services testing concepts is a plus.
• Exposure to test automation frameworks, particularly Playwright and JavaScript, would be highly beneficial.
