Data Quality Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases across various software platforms and features, ensuring meticulous coverage of both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Perform diverse testing activities including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to systematically identify, isolate, and report defects.
• Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and project stakeholders, to thoroughly understand project specifications and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Accurately document, report, and track bugs and issues using industry-standard bug tracking systems, diligently monitoring their resolution status and performing thorough retesting.
• Actively participate in design reviews, requirements gathering sessions, and sprint planning meetings, offering valuable insights from a quality assurance perspective to proactively mitigate potential issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, methodologies, and tools, striving for enhanced efficiency, effectiveness, and overall quality within the team.
• Ensure that all software products and features consistently meet predefined quality standards, user expectations, and regulatory compliance before their release into production environments.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 months of hands-on professional experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a similar analytical testing role.
• Solid foundational understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and various agile and waterfall testing methodologies.
• Proven proficiency in designing, developing, and executing detailed test cases, with a demonstrated ability to identify edge cases and potential failure points in software applications.
• Practical experience with commonly used bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and test management systems.
• Exceptional analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong problem-solving aptitude, enabling effective identification and troubleshooting of complex software issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong interpersonal abilities, essential for thriving within a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to commit to and work effectively during evening shifts (7:00 PM – 1:00 AM) to align with project schedules and international collaboration requirements.
