Data Engineer Trainer

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hybrid training sessions (both classroom and online) on various Data Engineering concepts and technologies, ensuring a rich learning experience.
• Design and facilitate hands-on laboratory exercises, projects, assignments, and assessments to reinforce learning and evaluate student progress.
• Provide personalized guidance and mentorship to students, helping them navigate complex technical challenges and tracking their overall technical development.
• Prepare students meticulously for technical interviews, offering insights into common interview practices and helping them articulate their skills effectively.
• Continuously develop, update, and refine the Data Engineering syllabus and all associated training materials to ensure relevance and alignment with industry best practices.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, training progress, and learning management system (LMS) activities.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience specifically in Data Engineering roles or as a Technical Trainer specializing in data-related fields.
• Demonstrable proficiency in core programming languages and technologies such as Python, SQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and/or Azure, for data storage, processing, and analytics.
• Strong foundational knowledge and practical application experience in Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and building robust Data Pipelines.
• Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Apache Spark, Scala, and Apache Kafka is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in working on practical Data Engineering projects, showcasing problem-solving and implementation capabilities.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly to diverse audiences.
