Data Analyst / MIS Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage various Management Information System (MIS) reports using advanced Excel functionalities to support business operations and strategic planning.
• Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across all reporting.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using functions like VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and COUNTIF/COUNTIFS to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business improvement.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analysis to stakeholders and senior management, translating complex data into clear, understandable formats.
• Collaborate with different departments, including operations and finance, to understand their reporting requirements and deliver customized, timely data solutions.
• Streamline existing reporting processes, identify bottlenecks, and suggest improvements for enhanced efficiency and accuracy in data management.
• Assist in identifying and resolving data-related discrepancies and ensure strict compliance with internal data governance policies and industry standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data management practices and reporting tools within the organization, staying updated with best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (e.g., Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, Computer Applications) from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of proven experience as an MIS Executive or in a similar data analysis/reporting role, with a strong preference for candidates from a Fintech or NBFC firm.
• Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, IF, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and COUNTIF/COUNTIFS.
• Demonstrated ability to handle, clean, organize, and analyze large volumes of data with meticulous attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the capability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and actionable reports.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for presenting findings and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
