As the Cyber Operations SOC – Third Party Monitoring Lead, you will be at the forefront of protecting Fusion Evalx's digital assets and data from evolving threats. Your expertise in managing vendor security, investigating incidents, and implementing cutting-edge security solutions will be paramount. We are looking for an individual who can not only manage current operations but also strategically evolve our third-party monitoring framework, ensuring the highest standards of security across all external partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive third-party security monitoring programs, ensuring continuous oversight of vendor security postures.
• Drive vendor incident response processes, from initial detection and investigation through containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Conduct in-depth security incident investigations, leveraging digital forensics techniques to identify root causes and strengthen defenses.
• Implement and manage Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) playbooks to enhance incident response efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee the security of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications and cloud-based third-party integrations, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Develop and refine detection engineering strategies to identify advanced threats and anomalies within our third-party ecosystem.
• Provide expert guidance on supply chain security risks and implement controls to protect against vulnerabilities introduced by external partners.
• Contribute to Fusion Evalx's threat intelligence efforts by analyzing emerging threats relevant to third-party engagements.
• Mentor and guide junior security analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence within the Cyber Operations SOC team.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure security policies and controls are consistently applied and adhered to.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 to 10 years of progressive experience in Cyber Operations, Security Operations Center (SOC), with a strong focus on Third-Party Monitoring.
• Demonstrated expertise in Vendor Risk Management, Vendor Incident Response, and establishing robust third-party security frameworks.
• Proven track record in security incident investigation, digital forensics, and applying analytical techniques to complex security challenges.
• Hands-on experience with SOAR platforms, detection engineering methodologies, and implementing security automation solutions.
• In-depth understanding of SaaS security best practices, cloud security principles, and supply chain security frameworks.
• Solid background in threat intelligence gathering, analysis, and its application in proactive security measures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to articulate complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, GCIH, or equivalent are highly desirable.
