Corporate Funder - US Residential Mortgage

Key Responsibilities

• Review thoroughly executed loan documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to all regulatory and internal compliance standards.
• Efficiently clear prior-to-fund and underwriting conditions, collaborating with relevant parties to resolve any outstanding issues promptly.
• Coordinate proactively and maintain strong communication channels with Loan Officers, Processors, and Escrow Officers to facilitate smooth loan closings.
• Meticulously review and validate all Closing Disclosures (CD) to ensure accuracy before funds are disbursed.
• Accurately set up and balance wires for final loan proceeds, ensuring all transactions are reconciled and properly recorded.
• Manage a high-volume pipeline of multiple loans concurrently, prioritizing tasks to meet strict funding deadlines.
• Ensure timely and accurate fundings within established cut-off timelines, mitigating potential delays.
• Maintain stringent compliance with all applicable regulations and uphold data integrity across all systems and processes within a remote operational setup.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience specifically within the US Residential Mortgage industry.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience and expertise in mortgage Closing and Funding operations.
• Profound knowledge of investor and agency guidelines pertinent to US residential mortgages.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, coupled with strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven capacity to work effectively and maintain high performance in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Mandatory proficiency and hands-on experience with the Encompass loan origination software.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for daily operational tasks and reporting.
