Claims Processing Analyst

As a Claims Processing Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex claim cycles from initiation to resolution. This position requires a proactive individual capable of working independently in a remote environment, ensuring adherence to strict schedules and process guidelines. You will leverage your experience in freight, transportation, and insurance claims to safeguard our clients' interests and maintain operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, and validate a variety of claims including freight, shortage, damage, delay, and general transportation claims with high accuracy.
• Thoroughly review and verify supporting documentation such as Bills of Lading (BOL), Proof of Delivery (POD), Freight Invoices, and detailed shipment records.
• Manage and respond to client emails promptly and professionally, ensuring clear and consistent communication regarding claim status and requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Operations, Quality Assurance, Carriers, Client Single Point of Contacts (SPOCs), and Management to expedite claim resolution.
• Identify and report shipment exceptions, ensuring all necessary data is captured for comprehensive claims investigation.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all processed claims and associated documentation.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of claims processing workflows and documentation standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in US Logistics Claims Processing, Freight Claims, Transportation Claims, or Insurance Claims.
• Demonstrable proficiency in Shipment Exception Processing and data validation techniques.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word for data management, analysis, and report generation.
• Excellent command of Outlook for professional email communication and calendar management.
• Strong ability to review and interpret various types of documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage time effectively to meet deadlines within the specified 5 PM - 2 AM (Monday-Friday) schedule.
• A reliable personal laptop and stable Wi-Fi connection are essential for this remote position.
