The Transformation Forge is seeking a highly experienced Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) to join our dynamic team in Hyderabad. This pivotal role demands a strategic HR professional with an extensive background in the Construction, EPC, or Infrastructure sectors, capable of shaping our human capital strategy and fostering a culture of excellence across a large, geographically dispersed workforce.

As our CHRO, you will be instrumental in leading all facets of HR, from strategic planning and talent management to employee engagement and industrial relations, directly impacting our growth and transformation journey. We are looking for a thought leader who can seamlessly integrate HR initiatives with business objectives, championing innovation and sustainable human resource practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive HR strategies that align with the company’s ambitious growth objectives within the Construction, EPC, and Infrastructure domains.
  • Oversee the strategic management of a large and complex geographically distributed workforce, ensuring consistency, compliance, and optimal performance across all locations.
  • Lead critical HR transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Design and implement robust talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning strategies to attract, develop, and engage top-tier talent.
  • Develop and manage performance management systems and employee engagement programs that drive accountability, productivity, and a positive work environment.
  • Provide expert guidance and leadership in employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR), ensuring compliance and fostering harmonious labor-management relationships.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CXO and Board-level stakeholders, providing strategic insights and recommendations on all human capital matters.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a resilient and inclusive organizational culture.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 25 years of progressive and senior-level HR experience, with a significant portion in the Construction, EPC, or Infrastructure industries.
  • Proven track record as a CHRO or Group HR Leader, successfully driving large-scale HR strategy, transformation, and leadership development initiatives.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing large, complex, and geographically dispersed workforces, including exposure to diverse regulatory environments.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a strong ability to engage and influence CXO and Board-level stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding and practical experience in talent acquisition, retention, workforce planning, performance management, and employee engagement strategies.
  • Strong background in employee relations (ER) and industrial relations (IR) is highly preferred, coupled with a thorough knowledge of labor laws and compliance.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into effective HR programs and solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
