Key Responsibilities

• Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of comprehensive business requirements for various capital markets projects, encompassing areas like trade lifecycle, equities, fixed income, and derivatives (F&O/OTC).
• Translate intricate business needs into clear, concise, and actionable functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
• Act as a primary liaison between business stakeholders, product management, and technical teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze existing business processes within the capital markets domain, identifying inefficiencies and recommending innovative solutions for optimization and automation.
• Ensure all proposed solutions and implemented systems adhere to relevant regulatory and compliance reporting standards, including but not limited to SEBI, RBI, MiFID, and Dodd-Frank.
• Contribute significantly to the design, testing, and implementation phases of new systems and enhancements, focusing on areas such as corporate actions and collateral management.
• Provide expert guidance and support to project teams, assisting in issue resolution and facilitating decision-making to maintain project momentum and success.
• Proactively monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies within capital markets to drive continuous improvement and strategic planning.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of comprehensive experience as a Business Analyst, with a significant portion (4-5+ years) dedicated to the BFSI sector, specifically within capital markets.
• Profound understanding and practical experience with the entire Trade Lifecycle, covering various asset classes including Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives (Futures & Options, Over-the-Counter products).
• Solid knowledge of Corporate Actions processing and Collateral Management practices.
• Demonstrated experience with global and local Regulatory & Compliance Reporting frameworks such as SEBI, RBI, MiFID, and Dodd-Frank.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to dissect complex financial data and processes.
• Proven ability to articulate complex technical and business concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field is highly preferred.
