As a BMS/EV Engineer at TATA AutoComp, you will be at the forefront of innovation, developing critical components that are essential for high-performance and safe electric vehicles. We are looking for bright minds eager to make a significant impact in the rapidly evolving EV landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and test Battery Management Systems (BMS) for various automotive applications, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Contribute to the hardware and software development of EV components, including power electronics, inverters, and charging systems.
• Perform system integration and validation for BMS and EV subsystems, ensuring seamless operation and compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct rigorous testing and debugging of embedded software and hardware for BMS and EV applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers, to deliver integrated EV solutions.
• Analyze and interpret technical specifications, schematics, and design documents related to BMS and EV systems.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of existing BMS and EV products, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing innovative solutions.
• Ensure all development activities adhere to automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.E. / B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven knowledge or experience in Battery Management Systems (BMS) and Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies.
• Familiarity with embedded systems design and development, including microcontroller programming in C/C++.
• Understanding of power electronics, motor control, and high-voltage systems commonly used in EVs.
• Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling and analysis is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
