As an Axiom Developer at IBM, you will be instrumental in developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex regulatory reporting applications. Your work will directly impact our ability to meet stringent US/UK regulatory requirements, ensuring accuracy and compliance in areas such as CCAR, Call Reports, COREP, FINREP, and Liquidity Reporting. This role demands a strong problem-solver who can navigate intricate data structures and collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of solutions using Axiom CV-9/10/11 versions, ensuring high quality and performance.
• Design and develop Axiom configuration objects including Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform Reports, and Workflows.
• Apply robust expertise in Oracle PL/SQL for database development, performance tuning, and optimizing data retrieval processes.
• Contribute significantly to US/UK Regulatory Reporting initiatives, covering critical frameworks like CCAR, Call Reports, COREP, FINREP, and Liquidity Reporting.
• Manage the application of frequent Axiom patches and updates to the existing codebase, maintaining system integrity and functionality.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and end-users to accurately interpret functional requirements and deliver precise, effective reporting solutions.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of Axiom applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on development experience specifically with Axiom CV-9, CV-10, or CV-11 versions.
• Demonstrated expertise in Oracle PL/SQL, advanced database concepts, and effective performance tuning techniques.
• Proven ability to develop and configure a wide array of Axiom objects, including Data Sources, Data Models, and Workflows.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with US/UK Regulatory Reporting standards such as CCAR, Call Reports, COREP, FINREP, and Liquidity Reporting.
• Familiarity with applying Axiom patches and updates within a production environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an acute attention to detail.
• Good foundational knowledge of BASEL Frameworks is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and business teams.
