Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks using Java or JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead the implementation of comprehensive UI and API automation test suites leveraging industry-leading tools like Selenium and Playwright.
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) principles and design patterns to create maintainable, reusable, and efficient automation code.
• Collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines and foster a "quality-first" mindset.
• Mentor and guide a team of automation engineers, sharing expertise and promoting best practices in test automation and software quality.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and provide detailed reports to stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in automation strategies, tools, and processes, including exploring AI-assisted testing techniques.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality automation scripts and adherence to coding standards.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 to 15 years of progressive experience in Automation Testing, with a proven track record of leading automation initiatives.
• Mandatory: Strong hands-on programming experience and deep understanding of Java, including OOPs concepts and design patterns.
• Mandatory: Strong hands-on programming experience in JavaScript or TypeScript, including OOPs concepts and design patterns.
• Extensive practical experience with leading UI automation tools such such as Selenium and Playwright.
• Demonstrable expertise in designing and implementing robust REST API automation frameworks and test suites.
• Proven ability to design and develop scalable, resilient, and maintainable automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong understanding of automation testing best practices, methodologies, and tools.
