Associate Software Engineer

Hunting Cherry is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join our dynamic team in Mohali, Punjab. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and deploying mission-critical software solutions, contributing significantly to our product roadmap and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software applications using C# and the .NET framework, ensuring high quality and adherence to best practices.
• Architect and develop robust RESTful APIs and GraphQL services, ensuring secure and efficient data exchange between systems.
• Perform advanced SQL query optimization and database design for MS SQL Server, enhancing application performance and data integrity.
• Contribute to system architecture and design discussions, providing technical leadership and insights to junior team members.
• Implement and manage authentication and authorization mechanisms using technologies like OAuth and JWT.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions on time.
• Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices and team productivity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and reliability of our applications.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, specifically with C# and the .NET framework.
• Proficiency with .NET (preferably .NET 9.0 or later) and strong understanding of its ecosystem.
• Extensive experience with MS SQL Server, including advanced SQL query writing, optimization, and database management.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing REST API and GraphQL services.
• Solid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols, including OAuth and JWT.
• Proven ability in system design and architecture principles, with a focus on scalability, security, and maintainability.
• A problem-solving mindset with excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office environment in Mohali, Punjab, and preferably able to join immediately or with a short notice period.
