Associate Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services primarily using Node.js.
• Design, implement, and optimize modern, responsive user interfaces and web applications with React.
• Develop and manage RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and ensure efficient database operations with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code, utilizing tools like Jest for comprehensive unit and integration testing.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features and enhancements.
• Implement and manage deployment processes using AWS, Docker, and maintain continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure production-ready solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and mentor junior developers to foster a high-performance team environment.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously improve our development processes and product offerings.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in full-stack software development.
• Demonstrated strong expertise in Node.js for backend development and React for building dynamic front-end applications.
• Proficiency in database design and optimization, specifically with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD methodologies and tools to automate deployment workflows.
• Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Experience with Golang or knowledge of AI-driven development tools is considered a significant plus.
