Key Responsibilities

• Design and Develop Scalable Solutions: Architect, develop, and deploy high-performance software applications for our advanced Cyber Security and AI platforms. This includes ensuring solutions are robust, secure, and maintainable.
• Backend Development Expertise: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code primarily using Python, leveraging frameworks such as FastAPI or Django, and Node.js for backend services.
• API and Microservices Implementation: Lead the implementation and management of REST APIs and microservices architectures, ensuring seamless integration and communication between various system components.
• Database Management: Work extensively with both relational databases like PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB to design schemas, manage data, and optimize query performance.
• DevOps Practices: Utilize modern DevOps tools, including Docker for containerization and CI/CD pipelines, to automate software delivery, deployment, and testing processes.
• Secure Coding Standards: Champion and apply secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle, proactively identifying and mitigating potential vulnerabilities in our applications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively collaborate with product managers, QA engineers, and other developers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver high-quality features.
• Code Quality and Mentorship: Participate in rigorous code reviews, contribute to improving coding standards, and help mentor junior team members to foster a culture of technical excellence.

Requirements

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 1 to 4 years of proven experience as a Software Developer, Backend Engineer, or a similar role, ideally within a tech-driven environment.
• Strong Programming Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in Python, with hands-on experience in developing applications using FastAPI or Django frameworks.
• Node.js Proficiency: Solid experience with Node.js for building scalable and high-performance backend services.
• API Development: Extensive experience in designing, developing, and consuming REST APIs and building microservices.
• Database Knowledge: Practical experience with both PostgreSQL and MongoDB is essential, including schema design and performance tuning.
• DevOps & Tools: Familiarity with Docker and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
• Security Mindset: A strong understanding of secure coding principles, common web vulnerabilities, and best practices for building resilient applications.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills with an ability to deliver solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
