As a key member of our engineering team, the Robotics Engineer will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and deploying sophisticated robotic solutions. You will work on challenging and rewarding tasks, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in the field of robotics.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement algorithms for autonomous navigation and advanced mobile robotics platforms.
• Utilize Robot Operating System (ROS/ROS2) extensively for tasks such as SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping), path planning, and robust obstacle avoidance strategies.
• Integrate, calibrate, and optimize various sensor systems, including LiDAR, Cameras, Inertial Measurement Units (IMU), and GPS, ensuring high data fidelity and system reliability.
• Conduct comprehensive robotics simulation, rigorous testing, meticulous debugging, and performance optimization of robotic systems.
• Participate actively in the real-world deployment and extensive field testing of autonomous robots, ensuring robust operation in diverse environments.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to translate complex robotics concepts into functional and scalable products.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in robotics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence to continuously enhance our technological capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in robotics engineering or a closely related field.
• Demonstrable strong proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages, essential for robotic software development.
• Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2, including practical application in developing robotic functionalities.
• Familiarity with robotics simulation environments like Gazebo and visualization tools such as RViz.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with Linux operating systems for embedded and robotic platforms.
• In-depth knowledge of SLAM, advanced navigation techniques, and sensor fusion algorithms.
• Experience working with computer vision libraries such as OpenCV and/or Point Cloud Libraries (PCL).
• Good understanding of real-time systems and various communication protocols relevant to robotics.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills with a keen eye for detail.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline is highly preferred.
