Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive manual testing on various applications across different platforms to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet high standards.
• Design, develop, and execute robust automated test scripts using industry-standard tools like Selenium to enhance testing efficiency and broaden coverage.
• Create detailed, clear, and comprehensive test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on project requirements and specifications.
• Conduct thorough API testing using popular tools such as Postman to validate backend services, data integrity, and system integrations.
• Accurately identify, document, track, and report bugs and defects using appropriate bug tracking systems, ensuring clear communication with development teams.
• Collaborate closely with development teams, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system architecture, functional requirements, and effectively resolve identified issues.
• Actively participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), contributing to quality gates.
• Perform rigorous database testing using SQL queries to verify data consistency, accuracy, and integrity within the application's backend.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies, embracing Agile practices to ensure timely and effective delivery.

Requirements

• 0 to 2 years of hands-on experience in Software Testing, encompassing both manual and automation testing practices. Freshers with strong foundational knowledge and relevant training are highly encouraged to apply.
• Proven proficiency in designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, coupled with strong bug tracking and reporting skills.
• Practical experience with automation testing frameworks and tools, specifically hands-on experience with Selenium.
• Familiarity with API testing concepts and practical experience using tools like Postman for RESTful and SOAP services.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and the ability to write effective SQL queries for data validation and testing purposes.
• Fundamental knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to diagnose issues and propose effective solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
