Associate IT Support Analyst

EXL is actively seeking a dedicated and technically proficient L1 Support Analyst to join our dynamic team in Pune. As an L1 Support Analyst, you will be instrumental in monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to maintain high availability and performance for our diverse technology landscape. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide first-level support for various IT systems, applications, and infrastructure, ensuring operational continuity.
• Perform initial troubleshooting, incident resolution, and escalation of complex issues to higher-level support teams when necessary.
• Manage and operate data processing tools and platforms, including Hadoop, Apache Airflow, Spark, and Hive, to ensure efficient data workflows.
• Assist in the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based solutions and services primarily on AWS.
• Support Managed File Transfer (MFT) operations, ensuring secure and timely data exchanges.
• Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes thoroughly to maintain knowledge bases and improve future support processes.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to identify root causes of issues and implement preventative measures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of support procedures and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of progressive experience in IT support, operations, or a similar technical role.
• Proven expertise in managing and troubleshooting systems utilizing Hadoop, Apache Airflow, Spark, and Hive.
• Demonstrable experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for monitoring and basic operational tasks.
• Familiarity with Managed File Transfer (MFT) tools and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively in an in-office setting, 5 days a week, in Pune.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration and incident reporting.
