Associate IT Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all phases of cybersecurity projects, from inception to successful deployment and post-implementation review, with a strong emphasis on AI-driven solutions.
• Manage projects focused on the implementation, optimization, and integration of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) technologies.
• Oversee the technical deployment of advanced security tools and platforms, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including security analysts, AI engineers, developers, and operations staff, to deliver cohesive and integrated security solutions.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and expectation setting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges and implementing effective solutions to maintain project momentum.
• Drive the adoption of AI and machine learning techniques within our cyber detection framework, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation and improvement.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, communicating progress, challenges, and key decisions to all relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically within the cybersecurity domain, with a demonstrated track record of successful project delivery.
• Strong expertise in Security Operations Center (SOC) environments and a comprehensive understanding of security best practices and threat landscapes.
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with SIEM, SOAR, and EDR technologies, including their deployment, configuration, and operational use.
• Prior experience with technical deployments of complex security systems and infrastructure.
• Demonstrable exposure to or direct experience with AI-driven security operations, machine learning applications in cybersecurity, or similar advanced analytical techniques.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse technical teams.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, remote work environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) are a significant plus.
