Associate IT Project Manager

As a Project Manager (Data + Insurance), you will be instrumental in overseeing the full project lifecycle, from strategic planning and execution to successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and client expectations. This role demands a proactive leader who can navigate challenging environments, manage diverse stakeholders, and leverage cutting-edge data technologies to deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery within the data and insurance sectors, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Function as a proficient Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within project teams.
• Apply robust project management principles and Agile/Scrum methodologies effectively to guide project execution and team performance.
• Drive the implementation and optimization of solutions leveraging Databricks for big data processing, analytics, and comprehensive reporting.
• Ensure project alignment with mandatory insurance domain requirements, demonstrating strong understanding of Life and/or Property & Casualty (P&C) business processes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and vendors, ensuring clear communication and expectation management.
• Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, manage changes, and resolve issues to maintain project momentum and achieve desired outcomes.
• Manage multiple, concurrent priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, demonstrating adaptability and resilience.

Requirements

• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in Project Management and Scrum Master roles, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
• Demonstrable expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and hands-on experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Mandatory and strong experience within the Insurance domain, including a comprehensive understanding of Life and/or Property & Casualty (P&C) business processes.
• Solid expertise in Databricks, encompassing big data processing, analytics, and reporting capabilities.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication (written and verbal), and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and thrive in dynamic, deadline-driven project environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
