Associate DevOps Engineer

EY is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team in Pune. As a DevOps Engineer with 6-10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust CI/CD pipelines and scalable infrastructure solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline software deployment.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) solutions primarily with Terraform for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Automate various operational tasks, deployments, and configurations using Ansible, Shell scripting, and Python.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure high availability and scalability of applications in cloud environments.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle, promoting faster release cycles and improved quality.
• Implement and enforce security best practices within the DevOps processes and infrastructure, ensuring compliance and data protection.
• Manage and optimize containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and strategic planning for evolving our DevOps ecosystem and infrastructure.

Requirements

• 6-10 years of progressive experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or a similar role.
• Proven expertise in developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, including custom runners and workflows.
• Strong command over Terraform for efficient and reliable infrastructure provisioning and management.
• Demonstrated proficiency in automation scripting using Ansible, Shell, and Python.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is highly desirable.
• Strong background in version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical challenges.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with immediate to 30-day joining preference.
