Associate Data Architect (Snowflake)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable data architectures and pipelines that support advanced analytics and AI applications.
• Utilize Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Notebooks), PySpark, SQL, and Python for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
• Leverage extensive knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Azure Databricks, to build robust data platforms.
• Develop and enforce best practices for data modeling (Dimensional, Data Vault, 3NF) and enterprise data governance and cataloging frameworks.
• Integrate data solutions with various enterprise systems such as Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics ERP/CRM platforms.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, guiding teams in data architecture best practices and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications and architectural designs.
• Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and optimal performance across all data assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of proven experience as a Data Architect, Data Engineer, or in a similar senior data role.
• Hands-on mastery of Microsoft Fabric (Pipelines, Notebooks), PySpark, SQL, and Python programming.
• Deep expertise in Azure cloud data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and Azure Databricks.
• Extensive experience with Dimensional, Data Vault, or 3NF data modeling techniques, and enterprise data governance principles.
• Familiarity with integration patterns for enterprise ERP/CRM systems like Oracle and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Azure Data Engineer Associate certifications.
