Associate Cloud Engineer

As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be at the forefront of cloud innovation, working on challenging projects that leverage the full potential of GCP. This position demands a professional with a proven track record of delivering scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure, contributing significantly to our core initiatives and client success.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage complex cloud infrastructure solutions on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools using Python and Terraform to streamline provisioning, deployment, and operational tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GCP services, including Vertex AI, into existing and new applications.
• Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code principles within the development lifecycle.
• Provide expert guidance on cloud architecture, performance optimization, and cost management strategies on GCP.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from conceptualization and design to testing and deployment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8-10 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform.
• Demonstrable expertise in GCP services, including compute, storage, networking, and specialized AI/ML offerings like Vertex AI.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and application development within a cloud environment.
• Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code, managing and provisioning cloud resources efficiently.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and related tooling.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience working in agile environments.
• Must be a Green Card Holder or US Citizen due to client requirements.
• Candidates must be local to San Francisco, CA, and available for 100% onsite work, five days a week.
