Associate Big Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for diverse data sources and high volumes.
• Architect and build robust cloud-based data ingestion and transformation frameworks on AWS and Azure.
• Develop enterprise-grade data models meticulously optimized for advanced analytics and AI workloads.
• Implement comprehensive data quality, governance, and data lineage solutions to ensure integrity and compliance.
• Architect and deploy highly available serverless and event-driven data processing architectures on AWS.
• Develop and integrate sophisticated AI Agents and intelligent interfaces using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Seamlessly integrate Copilot solutions with SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Graph, Dataverse, and REST APIs.
• Create efficient and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Platform, specifically Power Automate.
• Implement modern CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for reliable deployments.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of extensive hands-on experience in AWS Data Engineering (AWS Glue, Amazon S3, Athena, Redshift, Lambda, IAM, EventBridge).
• At least 1 year of practical experience with Azure Data Engineering (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Functions).
• Proven experience (1+ year) with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), or Microsoft Copilot Studio development.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, complemented by experience in PySpark and Spark SQL.
• Solid understanding of AI & Copilot technologies, including Power Platform, Dataverse, Prompt Engineering, RAG, and LLM Integration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and Azure OpenAI is highly desirable.
• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with a passion for building intelligent data platforms and enterprise AI solutions.
• Experience in Healthcare, Life Sciences, MedTech, Pharma, or integration experience with Salesforce, SAP, or ServiceNow is a significant advantage.
