Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using various ETL/ELT tools and techniques.
• Develop and optimize data models, ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility for analytical purposes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and software developers, to understand data requirements and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Implement and manage data warehousing solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security of data assets.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring data integrity and availability across all platforms.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies in data engineering, recommending and implementing improvements to our data ecosystem.
• Automate data processes and build tools to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Expertise in programming languages like Python for data manipulation and scripting.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, particularly with their data services.
• Familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar frameworks.
• Proven ability to design and implement robust ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
