Associate Backend Developer

As a Backend Developer – Python, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the core services that power our applications, ensuring seamless functionality and excellent user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Python, with a strong emphasis on the Django framework.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs for seamless integration with front-end applications and other microservices.
• Work extensively with various database systems, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other SQL databases, to ensure data integrity and optimal performance.
• Deploy and manage backend applications on Microsoft Azure, leveraging services such as App Service, Azure Functions, and Azure Storage.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Ensure high code quality through comprehensive testing, meticulous code reviews, and maintaining clear, concise documentation.
• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design through to deployment and ongoing maintenance, focusing on continuous improvement.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 to 6 years of professional experience as a Backend Developer, specifically with a strong focus on Python.
• Mandatory strong proficiency in Python programming and extensive hands-on experience with the Django framework.
• Proven exposure to and practical experience with FastAPI is highly advantageous.
• Demonstrated strong understanding and practical experience in designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Proficiency in working with various database management systems, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and other SQL-based solutions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services, including App Service, Functions, and Storage.
• Experience with Git or other distributed version control systems.
• Familiarity with authentication mechanisms like JWT/OAuth, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and microservices architecture is considered a significant plus.
