Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and customize Android frameworks and system services to meet specific project requirements.
• Work extensively with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) to understand, modify, and extend core functionalities.
• Implement and debug Hardware Abstraction Layers (HAL) to ensure seamless integration of hardware components with the Android OS.
• Utilize Binder IPC mechanisms for inter-process communication within the Android system.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Android system services for enhanced performance and stability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers and application developers, to integrate solutions.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to Android system architecture and framework components.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and provide technical leadership in Android platform development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/BE) in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related engineering field.
• Minimum of 4 years and up to 9 years of hands-on experience in Android Framework Development and Customization.
• Proven expertise with Android Open Source Project (AOSP) internals and architecture.
• Strong understanding and experience with Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) implementation and modification.
• In-depth knowledge of Binder IPC and its application in Android system development.
• Proficiency in developing and debugging Android System Services.
• Solid programming skills in C++ and Java for Android platform development.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
