Key Responsibilities

• Edit and refine high-retention Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, ensuring optimal impact and viewer engagement.
• Produce engaging long-form YouTube videos (typically 10+ minutes) from conceptualization to final export.
• Implement advanced motion graphics, text animations, seamless transitions, and professional sound enhancements to elevate video quality.
• Optimize all video content for maximum social media engagement, reach, and viewer retention across platforms.
• Collaborate closely with content creators and marketing teams to develop innovative video concepts and execute them effectively.
• Manage video assets, ensuring organized storage and efficient retrieval for ongoing projects.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, software advancements, and social media best practices to continuously improve content quality.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2–3 years of professional experience as a Video Editor, ideally with a focus on digital and social media content.
• Demonstrable proficiency in industry-standard video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and/or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of storytelling principles, visual design, pacing, and rhythm in video production.
• Expertise in color correction, audio balancing, sound design, and adapting editing styles for platform-specific requirements.
• Experience with motion graphics and a solid understanding of YouTube SEO principles and thumbnail creation are highly advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently under deadlines, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain high-quality standards.
• A portfolio showcasing your best video editing work is essential.
