AI Technical Lead

Vaiticka is seeking an accomplished Technical Lead – .NET & React to spearhead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade applications. This pivotal contract role demands deep expertise in both .NET backend/API development and modern React-based frontend solutions. The ideal Technical Lead will drive innovation, mentor engineering teams, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver scalable, secure, and cloud-ready software leveraging AI-assisted development.

As a Technical Lead, you will be instrumental in guiding technical decisions, ensuring code quality, and implementing robust full-stack solutions. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within our development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of complex enterprise applications using .NET and React.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, fostering growth and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and design teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions.
• Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development approaches to enhance efficiency and quality in .NET API development.
• Ensure the development of scalable, secure, and high-performance backend APIs and responsive React UIs.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, architectural patterns, and performance requirements.
• Oversee the integration of testing frameworks and maintain high code coverage for both frontend and backend components.
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmapping for future technical initiatives and system improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in a technical lead role.
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET technologies, including C#, ASP.NET Core, and Web APIs (preferably .NET 8+).
• Deep proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 for building modern and responsive user interfaces.
• Proven experience with frontend and backend testing frameworks such as Jest, RTL, xUnit, or NUnit.
• Extensive experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Solid understanding and practical experience with relational databases like SQL Server or Oracle.
• Familiarity with ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework or Dapper.
• Demonstrated experience with Git and robust version control workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to lead Agile/Scrum teams.
