Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily reconciliation of various financial transactions, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and other financial products.
• Investigate and resolve settlement discrepancies, failed trades, and unmatched positions promptly and accurately.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Collaborate effectively with internal departments such as Trading, Operations, Risk Management, and Client Services to facilitate smooth settlement processes.
• Generate and analyze settlement reports, providing insights into potential risks and areas for process improvement.
• Monitor cash and securities movements, ensuring sufficient balances for settlement activities.
• Participate in system enhancements and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new or upgraded settlement platforms.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development, sharing best practices and institutional knowledge.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in settlements, back-office operations, trade support, or a similar role within the financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of various financial instruments and the end-to-end trade lifecycle process.
• Proven proficiency in financial reconciliation processes and discrepancy resolution.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders and external parties.
• Candidates with an immediate to 30-day notice period will be strongly preferred for this Senior Analyst, Settlements role.
