AI/ML Engineer

As a senior AI/ML Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing sophisticated AI systems that leverage the full potential of the Databricks Lakehouse platform. Your role will involve spearheading projects related to Agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement advanced AI/ML solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and Python.
• Lead the architecting and deployment of Agentic AI systems and applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Develop and optimize RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines for enhanced AI model performance and accuracy.
• Implement and manage MLOps and LLMOps practices using tools like MLflow to ensure efficient model lifecycle management, from experimentation to production.
• Leverage Databricks Lakehouse Platform features, including Unity Catalog for data governance and Vector Search for efficient data retrieval.
• Work with Databricks Model Serving to deploy and scale AI/ML models for real-time inference.
• Contribute to the evaluation and integration of open-source LLMs and Databricks Apps into existing and new platforms.
• Ensure the highest standards of AI/ML governance and security across all deployed solutions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an AI/ML Engineer or in a similar advanced machine learning role.
• Proven expert-level proficiency with the Databricks platform, including Databricks Lakehouse architecture.
• Extensive experience with Python and PySpark for data manipulation, machine learning model development, and large-scale data processing.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Machine Learning, Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Demonstrated experience in building and optimizing RAG Pipelines.
• Solid experience with MLOps/LLMOps principles and tools, specifically MLflow.
• Familiarity with Databricks Model Serving, Unity Catalog, and Vector Search is essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting, manage projects independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
