AI Full Stack Engineer

Sight Spectrum is actively seeking a highly experienced and innovative AI Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dallas, TX. This onsite contract role is ideal for a seasoned professional with 14-18+ years of expertise in developing robust, scalable, and intelligent applications. As an AI Full Stack Engineer, you will be pivotal in designing, implementing, and deploying sophisticated AI-driven solutions, leveraging your deep knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a strong focus on Java or Python ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of end-to-end AI-powered applications, from conceptualization to production, as a senior AI Full Stack Engineer.
• Develop and maintain highly scalable and efficient back-end services using Java or Python frameworks, integrating advanced AI/Machine Learning models.
• Architect and implement robust RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between front-end interfaces and AI-driven back-end systems.
• Design and develop responsive and intuitive front-end user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks, ensuring optimal user experience.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, machine learning engineers, and product managers to translate complex AI requirements into tangible full-stack solutions.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, security, and reliability of all developed applications, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, technology selection, and strategic planning for future AI and full-stack initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 14-18+ years of progressive experience in full-stack software development, with a significant focus on AI/ML integration.
• Exceptional proficiency in either Java (e.g., Spring Boot) or Python (e.g., Django, FastAPI, Flask) for back-end development.
• Demonstrable experience with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Strong understanding and practical experience with AI and Machine Learning concepts, including model integration, data processing, and deployment strategies.
• Expertise in database design and management (SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proven track record with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, architectural acumen, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced contract environment.
