As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer at Katonic AI, you will work at the intersection of development and operations, ensuring that our AI products deliver maximum value. You'll engage with complex AI systems, optimize performance, and contribute to robust, scalable deployments, making a significant impact on our product capabilities and user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and deploy sophisticated AI agents and workflows on client infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Design and build robust retrieval and knowledge pipelines, facilitating efficient data access and utilization for AI models.
• Perform fine-tuning and optimization of Large Language Models (LLMs) and other machine learning models to meet specific project requirements and improve accuracy.
• Integrate Katonic AI solutions with various third-party tools and MCP servers, ensuring smooth interoperability and data flow.
• Collaborate closely with product development and research teams to provide feedback from deployment experiences, influencing future product enhancements.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to AI model deployment, performance, and integration in production environments.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for deployed systems, workflows, and operational procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in the IT industry, with a strong focus on AI/ML development or deployment.
• Proficiency in Python programming, with a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Demonstrable experience with AI concepts, including machine learning model deployment, LLMs, AI agents, and workflow orchestration.
• Strong practical knowledge of Linux environments, including command-line operations, scripting, and system administration.
• Experience working with HTTP protocols and building/consuming REST APIs for system integration.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker for application packaging and deployment.
• Solid understanding of database concepts and practical experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges in complex systems.
