Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Dataflow, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for data ingestion, transformation, and loading from various source systems into data warehouses and data lakes.
• Develop and optimize data models in BigQuery to support analytical reporting, business intelligence, and machine learning initiatives.
• Write robust, well-documented code in Python and utilize PySpark for advanced data processing and analytics tasks.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data solutions, adhering to best practices and industry standards.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance to meet service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure data availability.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in GCP data services and incorporate new technologies to improve existing data infrastructure.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience of 5 to 12 years in data engineering, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• In-depth expertise in GCP services including BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud Storage.
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data manipulation, scripting, and advanced data processing.
• Strong command of SQL for data querying, analysis, and database management.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, high-performance data architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Must be able to work on-site at our Pune or Hyderabad locations.
