AI Architect

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the overall AI strategy and architectural vision for Photon, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical feasibility.
• Design, develop, and deploy scalable and high-performance AI/ML solutions, including model development, deployment pipelines (MLOps), and integration with existing systems.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to AI/ML engineering teams, guiding them through complex architectural decisions and implementation challenges.
• Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and platforms to optimize solution performance, cost, and maintainability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and translate them into actionable AI designs.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and governance of all AI solutions, adhering to data privacy and ethical AI principles.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud technologies to foster continuous innovation within the team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years specifically focused on designing and architecting AI/ML solutions.
• Profound expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive modeling.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, with extensive experience using AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for deploying and managing AI workloads and infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles, database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with MLOps practices and tools for model versioning, deployment, monitoring, and retraining.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, architectural design capabilities, and the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
