Accounts Receivable Manager

As an Accounts Receivable Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of our accounts receivable function, from credit control to collections and reconciliation. Your expertise will contribute directly to maintaining healthy cash flow and financial stability for Zomato. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
• Lead and execute collection strategies, including customer follow-ups, dispute resolution, and recovery of overdue accounts.
• Perform comprehensive accounts receivable aging analysis and reconciliation activities regularly.
• Develop, implement, and monitor robust credit control policies and procedures to minimize financial risk.
• Collaborate effectively with internal sales, operations, and finance teams to resolve any billing or payment discrepancies.
• Generate detailed accounts receivable reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review.
• Ensure strict adherence to Indian Accounting Standards and statutory compliance in all AR operations.
• Drive process improvements and efficiency within the accounts receivable department.

Requirements

• A mandatory Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is required.
• Possess 5-7 years of progressive experience in Accounts Receivable management.
• Prior experience exclusively within the FMCG, E-commerce, or Retail industry is essential.
• Demonstrated strong understanding and practical application of Indian Accounting practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to join with a notice period of up to 30 days.
