Accounts Executive - Accounts Receivable

PayGlocal, a leading cross-border payment platform backed by prominent investors like Peak XV & Beenext, is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our dynamic Finance & Accounts team in Pune. This pivotal role is ideal for a Semi-qualified CA eager to take ownership of critical financial operations and contribute to a rapidly expanding fintech environment.

As an Accounts Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of our financial records, supporting key strategic initiatives, and maintaining robust financial health for the company. We are looking for a proactive individual who can manage financial reporting, statutory compliances, and audit processes with precision and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports and Management Information Systems (MIS) to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage end-to-end Goods and Services Tax (GST) and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) calculations, workings, and timely filings.
• Oversee vendor payments, conduct thorough reconciliations, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
• Ensure adherence to all statutory compliances, including those mandated by RBI, MCA, PF, and PT regulations.
• Act as the primary liaison with statutory auditors, coordinating and managing the entire audit process from planning to completion.
• Provide crucial support during investor due diligence (DD) processes, preparing and presenting financial data.
• Prepare the company for RBI audits and manage all related regulatory documentation and submissions.
• Collaborate effectively with various internal teams, serving as a key business partner for finance-related matters.

Requirements

• A Semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 2–3 years of post-articleship experience, preferably within the fintech sector.
• Demonstrated exposure to statutory audits, RBI inspections, and investor due diligence processes.
• Proficiency and hands-on experience with accounting software such as Tally, as well as strong skills in Excel and Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to independently manage and execute both financial compliance and operational tasks.
• A strong understanding of financial regulations, accounting principles, and statutory requirements.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy.
